The Rooms And Hotel Rates At The Rosen Shingle Creek
The Rosen Shingle Creek is one the largest hotels in the area with 1,501 rooms including 195 suites, 411 king rooms, 950 queen double room and 75 ADA guest rooms. There are 56 petite king suites, 69 executive parlor suites, 37 grande parlor suites, 30 hospitality suites and three Presidential suites.
In-room amenities are extensive and include premium linens, working desk with chair, flat panel television with premium and on-demand movies for rent, smart phone docking station, coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, iron / ironing board, in-room safe and a hair dryer.
The hotel rates shown below are the best available rate for different dates during the year for two adults in three different room types. Theses were obtained from the Rosen web site at the time of publication.

There are no resort fees but and self-parking costs $25.00 per night valet parking costs $35.00 per night. Other costs include Florida state sales tax of 6.5% and an Orange County occupancy tax of 6%.
Internet service is free for only the first 10Mbps per device during the length of the stay. Premium internet access is available for up to 20Mbps per device. Speed was considered fair with 15.50Mbps download speed and 14.23Mbps upload speed per Speedtest.net.

- Going west on I-4 take the SR-528 exit.
- Exit 72-toward Intl Airport/Cape Canaveral.

Shingle Creek Golf Club:
A world-class golf club and course await. The course was conceived and executed by the esteemed Arnold Palmer Design Company, with three new holes, a group of designed holes, and the overall balance of the course recalibrated to accommodate design features including more forgiveness and recovery options along extra-long par-4s and par-5s. The Shingle Creek Golf Club is definitely strokes and chips above a typical hotel golf course.
Senior Golf Course Architect Thad Layton says the mission was to add strategy and variety to the golfers experience. His design features harken back to the golden age of golf course design. The golf course features more visible and strategically placed bunkers, like the one on the landing area of the second hole that forces players to navigate creatively yet demands precision. Regardless, extra fairway width provides all skill-level players plenty of alternative options. Players will notice major differences in the short game as well, especially on a new par-3 holethe shortest at 191 yards but definitely not the easiest. It runs adjacent to wetland with its pitch angled toward those natural hazards along its entire left side. The new range in the courses variety swings out at the eighth hole where players see the course expand drastically to a par 5,610-yard stretch from the back tee.

Story Behind The Hotel Name:
In the early 1800s, settlers would log cypress trees down the creek and use them to make shingles for the roofs of the settlers homes. Thus, the settlers affectionately gave the creek its name Shingle Creek.
One of the first settlements in the region was also called Shingle Creek, which was located east of the Shingle Creek waterway. Shingle Creek itself is recognized as the headwaters of the Florida Everglades.
In 1840, a trading post opened near Shingle Mill at the low water crossing point on Shingle Creek, which is a stones throw away from the hotel. It is Rosen Shingle Creeks intent to pay homage to the old Florida Frontier.

The Rosen Shingle Creek has some of the largest conference facilities of any hotel in Florida. There is 524,000 square feet of indoor & outdoor conference and event space.
There is a total of 410,000 square feet of indoor events space which includes:

The Rosen Shingle Creek has a reception capacity of 10,000 guests with a theater-style capacity of 9,500 guests. There are also 17 loading bays to transport equipment.

The Rosen Shingle Creek is home to the Shingle Creek Golf Club which features an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course designed by the Arnold Palmer Design Company. The course plays 7,213 yard, has a rated of 74.3 and a slope of 137. Additional features include:
